This listing is for an
IBM / Lexmark Wheelwriter 1000 Typewriter
in excellent working condition. This unit has been cleaned, lubed, fresh margin-memory batteries installed and verified and new type and correction lift-off ribbons have been installed. This typewriter ships with a factory dust cover and a spare carbon ribbon. The included daisy wheel is Prestige Elite.
Unlike most office typewriters, this unit looks practically new inside and out (see pics).
All features have been tested and are working properly, including memory reprint, spell check alert, and correction lift-off (w/memory). These are some of the last "real" IBM-designed typewriters and produce excellent quality type as well as being feature-rich.
This typewriter will be carefully packed and double-boxed so that it arrives safely at your doorstep. Apologies on the shipping cost as it weights over 26 pounds!
