    Item Description
    Vintage set of 5 Starrett Firm Joint Calipers, all marked “L. S. Starrett Co., Athol Mass, USA, Pat May 21 1895”.  The set includes caliper sizes of 14”, 12”, 8”, 6” and 4”. They are designed to function as both inside and outside calipers.  The 14” and 4” sizes also include a transfer feature that allows the caliper to measure the inside of a cavity and be withdrawn without losing the measurement. The 4” calipers are missing a decretive ball on the axel screw, but this does not affect the function of the caliper. Please look closely at all photos before purchasing.
