Vintage LS Starrett Co 17" Calipers Inside & Outside Measure Made in USA

Description

This is a great vintage caliper made by the LS Starrett Co in Athol, Mass.  The hinge is jointed so it can function as an inside and an outside caliper.  It is solid metal, maybe stainless steel.  It is nearly 1 pound on its own.  The joint functions properly.  There is some surface rust and it could use a good cleaning, but it is in working order.  A great looking tool!
