Description
DescriptionThis beautifully designed vintage glass serving bowl was made by the American glass company Anchor Hocking in the 1960s as part of its Early American Prescut range of glassware.
Early American Prescut (EAPC) was a range featuring designs based on stars and fans, usually around a central 8-pointed star motif. It is sometimes known as the Star of David range because it bears a similarity to the 6-sided Star of David. The bulk of EAPC glass was produced from 1960 through to the mid 1970s, and it is increasing in popularity among collectors of vintage glassware, especially in the USA.
The bowl makes for a beautiful decorative item in it's own right, or would make a stylishly vintage fruit or salad bowl for a kitchen or dining room.
