Two 1968 SOCK IT TO EM Nixon Humphrey Campaign Buttons Original

Description

Up for bid are Two (2) 1968 Presidential Campaign Buttons. One is a Republican, featuring Richard Nixon, and the other a Democrat, Hubert Humphrey. Both are Pinback Buttons, on their original cards (with the word “Nemo” on the bottom). The buttons measures 2” in diameter.
In the spirit of the popularity of the Sock-it-to-me Laugh-in times, one states: SOCK-IT-TO-EM Nixon Agnew. The other one states: SOCK-IT-TO-EM Humphrey Muskie.
Buttons have never been worn and come on their original cards. They were sold at a Ben Franklin store and the Humphrey one comes with its original 49 cents price sticker.
