    Here is a
    good used vintage Starrett 41-6, 6" firm joint hermaphrodite caliper. This adjustable, sliding flat leg type is no longer made by Starrett.
    All the newer styles have a  adjustable round point.  It works good and has  a owner named engraved on it.  Just a few very light stain spots on it.  These 41 series are no longer made by Starrett with the flat adjustable leg, they are now the 563-6 ones with an adjustable round pointer/scriber and run new today.
