    Description

This is an extremely rare political button from the 1988 Republican Convention in New Orleans. I was a delegate from Pennsylvania to the National Convention that year. The Pennsylvania Republican Committee in Harrisburg gave each delegate and alternate a numbered button for identification. We wore these down in New Orleans. I took extremely good care of mine and it has been protected since I got back in 1988.  I was number 281 as you can see in the pictures.  This is the ONLY button numbered 281 in the world. NO ONE else had this number.  The numbered buttons are impossible to find in this condition; it's like new.  To any political memorabilia collector, or George Bush fan this is a must.  The reason Dan Quayle is not on the button is because we didn't know who his choice would be until we got to New Orleans.  It was a surprise to everyone. Good luck.
