    Description

    Early antique
    dollhouse m
iniature room box / diorama / vignette.
18th or 19th century Nuremberg kitchen,
    Puppenküche
    .
From the estate of a longtime miniature collector, in Ohio, came this amazing early example of an authentic Nuremberg kitchen. As is typical, it has been repaired and added to over the decades. But much of the original items are still intact, including four coins found inside the cupboard that date from 1640, 1850 (2), and 1875. My favorite detail is the hen coops under both counters containing miniature chickens and geese.
Like many early Nuremberg kitchens, the scale varies with individual items.
It is not signed or dated. Most items are removeable, as shown.
Measures approximately 10 inches tall, 21-1/2 inches wide, and 11-1/8 inches deep.
Good, vintage condition. Wear and visible repairs, consistent with age and use. As with all handcrafted and artist made items, there may be natural imperfections.
Photos are considered part of the description.

Good, vintage                  Has flaws consistent with age and use
Good, gently used           Shows normal signs of wear expected for age and use
As is, as found                Often used for items that need cleaning, repair or non-working and being sold for parts
