General Radio 874-LBA Slotted Line w/GR Connector @ Each End: Microwave/UHF/VHF

Description

General Radio GR 874-LBA Slotted Line w/GR Connector on Each End. Condition is "Used".
Use with VHF/UHF/Microwave Transmission Line & Antenna Impedance Measurement Projects.
Frequency Range: 300 MHz - 5 GHz.
At 300 MHz the slotted line covers one-half wavelength.
Operation below 300 MHz is possible with slightly reduced accuracy.
Type 874 sexless connector on each end of slotted line.
Two type 874 connectors are moved along slotted line section, controlled by a tuning dial knob.
Tuning dial in good condition. Tension cord is original.
Turning dial clock-wise moves unit to right with some slippage.
Turning dial counter clock-wise to move unit to left needs assistance.
I did not attempt to tighten the tuning cord tension to improve this.
Replacement of nylon cord is described in the manual (find online).
