Points to note when purchasing
Because the US uses 110V to 120V voltage, it can not be used in the USA. Also, it can not be used at 220V to 240V. One way to deal with this problem is to use a step-down transformer. There are important points in using the step-down transformer. If the machine using the transformer is equipped with a motor or if it generates heat, a transformer three times the wattage of the machine is required. For example, if the product operates at 100 W, a transformer with a capacity of 300 W is required. This is because we need 2 to 3 times more power than usual to start up. Please be aware that shortage of capacity leads to breakdown of transformer or product, in the worst case it may cause fire. Japan's plug type is type A.
Plug types also differ across countries, so please use a conversion adapter to change the plug to type A if plug types are different. Conversion adapters also have electric power limits, so please use them accordingly. There are some conversion adapters that are originally designed to handle 100V-240V, so you can check the instructions on them about electrical outputs.
If a conversion adapter can handle the electric power, all you need to do to use the product in your country is to change the plug to type A.
