Antique French Miniature Dollhouse burgundy Salon Furnishings Roombox. Made by Gottschalk for the French market in the Original wood travel Box. 16" w. x 7 d x 7 3/4" t. Original box which is designed to serve as room walls and floor, the one-room has a window with curtains in one corner and a door with a curtain in the other corner. There are 10 pieces of furniture including chairs, a pedestal table, a mantle with a mirror and a piano, a mantle clock made in occupied Japan. The pictures on the walls are part of the box. Really nice condition, minor wear to the paper, some discoloration on the furniture. No lid. French c1875. Great for display with Mignonettes or small dolls. Does not include the doll or cat shown in the pics.
If shipped by USPS, insurance will not show on the label. I pay a separate private co for insurance & all my items are insured.
My shipping charges are about the lowest in the biz. I pay for a shipping service that allows me to ship 1st class & to provide lower cost insurance. It may be a day longer but doesn't justify you, the customer paying more. If you prefer Priority, don't pay til I can adjust the shipping charge after you notify me of that preference. I only charge actual costs & refund if its less to ship. I also recycle & save good boxes. Priority boxes that come to me are often damaged in shipping, they are too thin.
