DESCRIPTION -Myford Thread (1-1/8" x 12 TPI)
Caste Iron Backplates for mounting collet chucks or alternative lathe chucks.
The backplate has Myford Threads, 1-1/8" x 12 TPI.
Supplied with rough recess to be re-machined by the user to match the register in the back of the chuck. Also as per the various chuck PCDs, it is also necessary to drill and possibly tap the backplate to accept whichever chuck is being mounted.
Back plates are ideal for mounting a collet chuck to a lathe.
Boxford Thread (1-1/2" x 8 TPI)
